# Publish your real footprint on Finstat

Banks and partners check your company on Finstat and see an estimated footprint. Replace it with the Scope 1, 2 and 3 you actually calculated – one switch per scope.

Finstat is the Slovak company register that banks, customers and suppliers use to check a company – and it shows an **estimated** carbon footprint for every company. With SmartHead you replace that estimate with the emissions you calculated, and show that you measure and manage your footprint.

What you publish here is **public** – anyone looking up your company on Finstat sees it. Publish only values you stand behind, ideally from a disclosure marked **Done**.

## Where to find it

Dashboard › the card **Show your real carbon footprint on Finstat**, at the top of the page. The card appears only for profiles that are linked to a Finstat ID and have access to ESRS, Revised ESRS or VSME.

The same box sits at the top of your GHG disclosure – **E1-8**, **E1-6**, or **B3** and **C3** – with the scope names linking to the rows that feed them.

## What the card shows

| "Values from Revised ESRS for the year 2026 ▾"                                                             | Which framework and year the numbers come from. SmartHead takes the first framework you have access to, in this order: Revised ESRS, then ESRS, then VSME. |
| Year dropdown                                                                                              | Switch between the last three reporting years that have a value.                                                                                           |
| **Scope 1 - Direct emissions**, **Scope 2 - Purchased energy (location-based)**, **Scope 3 - Value chain** | The calculated value of each scope in t CO₂eq, with a switch that publishes that one scope.                                                                |
| **Total**                                                                                                  | The sum of the three.                                                                                                                                      |
| **Publish my real emissions on Finstat**                                                                   | Publishes every scope that has a value, after the question "Do you agree to publicly show your calculated GHG emissions for 2026 on Finstat?".             |

Fill the GHG rows of your disclosure – see [Calculate a row](/ghg-emissions-co2-calculator/calculator-drawer.md). Scope 2 on Finstat is the location-based value.

### Pick the year

On the dashboard card, choose the reporting year in the dropdown.

### Publish

Switch on the scopes you want to show, or click **Publish my real emissions on Finstat** for all of them. Confirm the dialog. A switch without a value is disabled.

### Keep it current

Change a row later and the published value follows your disclosure. Switch a scope off to withdraw it.

## From the disclosure

On **E1-8**, **E1-6**, **B3** or **C3** the header **"…"** menu offers **Share all GHG emissions on Finstat** – the dialog asks "Do you agree to publicly share the calculated GHG emissions from all eligible datapoints in this disclosure on Finstat?" – and, once shared, **Stop sharing GHG emissions on Finstat**.

## Good to know

* **Who:** administrators publish and withdraw. Viewers see the card and the switches, but cannot change them.
* **Only one framework feeds Finstat** at a time – the first accessible one. If you fill both ESRS and Revised ESRS, Revised ESRS wins.
* **Several disclosures:** for VSME the Scope 1 and 2 values come from B3 and Scope 3 from C3; the card handles both.
* **Saving conflicts:** if a colleague changed the disclosure meanwhile, SmartHead saves your consent on the current version – no overwrite.

TO CHECK: whether publishing will be limited to disclosures in **Done** or **Verified** status (planned, not enforced today), and exactly what a Finstat visitor sees – the three scopes, the total, the year, a "verified by SmartHead" note (Q26).

## Tips

* Publish after your disclosure is **Done** and, if you have an auditor, after their approval. See [Approvals](/team-collaboration/approvals.md).
* A board member with the **viewer** role can check the card on the dashboard any time – a quick "are we public yet?" without asking you.
* The card's year dropdown is also the fastest place to compare three years of scope totals.
